Imogen Stubbs stars as Leni Riefenstahl in A Thing of Beauty, a fictional play that delves into the complex legacy of the legendary film icon whose artistry was marred by her association with the Nazis. Set against the backdrop of 1972, the narrative unfolds through an intense interview between Riefenstahl and Harry Adams, a troubled documentary filmmaker reflecting their personal ambitions and pasts.

This gripping new play by Wendy Oberman and Jonathan Lewis challenges the audience to contemplate whether art can ever be separated from the artist, especially in an era rife with falsehoods, propaganda, and societal cancellation.
