Our learning team run an exciting programme of outreach and creative learning working closely with the local community.
Each year Theatre Royal Windsor produces a full scale musical theatre production that teams talented local children and adults with a team of professional directors, designers and choreographers who have worked on some of the biggest shows in the West End and beyond.

Registration is NOW OPEN for our 2026 Summer Community Production of We Will Rock You – The Musical!
This exciting opportunity gives local performers aged 16+ the chance to work with a team of industry professionals and perform on the main stage of the historic Theatre Royal Windsor.
Following the success of our previous community production Grease the Musical we’re thrilled to announce our most electrifying summer project yet: We Will Rock You – The Musical, featuring the iconic music of Queen and a bold, futuristic storyline by Ben Elton.
Set in a world where music is forbidden and individuality is crushed, a group of rebel Bohemians rise up to bring back rock ‘n’ roll.
Packed with chart-topping Queen anthems like “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Somebody to Love”, “Don’t Stop Me Now”, and “We Are the Champions”, this musical is loud, proud, and bursting with energy. Don’t wait around – tickets are on sale now!
Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will take place from Monday 3rd – Tuesday 18th August 2026 (With some ad-hoc sessions TBC subject to performer availability).

All cast must be aged 16+ by show week and be available for ALL DATES.
Once you have registered, we’ll send you full details about our audition process. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or new to the stage, there are plenty of exciting roles available for all experience levels.
